The South-Tyrol game in the Touriseum - Merano / Italy

The game of south-Tyrol is an ironic game for young and old people about the world of tourism in South-Tyrol.
Its placed at the end of the permanent exibition of Touriseum and shows us in a ludic wood and with entertainment a symbolic way through South-Tyrol.
The base of the game is carved wood representing a touristic landscape.
The singular elements of the landscape - montains, lakes, villages - resemble reality but at the same time, thanks to ironic details, they drift far away.
A little ball "the tourist" makes a journey through canals to visit the beauty of the place. The visitor can handle with joysticks the way the ball should go: wherever to go skiing, to go "Törggelen", to go climbing, etc....
In many places the ball activates mechanic reactions: a "Jodler" resounds a snow cannon turns on above a farmhouse appears the sign of a "fast food" etc.... The message is: the village is changing for tourism in a playing manner.
The player gets to know the world of tourism.
